BMW i3 has come to Northern Ireland
At last the BMW i3 has made its way to Northern Ireland, BMWs long awaited debut into the electric car market has been highly anticipated, partly due to of course the BMW name but also the technology and design that comes along with it.
The BMW i3’s key features include the optional rapid charging options which can charge your vehicle up to 805 within 20 minutes according to BMW along with this is the optional 650cc fuel powered range extender, this can extend the range of the i3 up to and over 100 miles. But one of the most interesting and revolutionary additions to the vehicle is that of the “BMW i Genius” this allows the owners of the vehicle 24/7 interaction to ‘live’ question and answers on any queries they have, this is done via software that works on a mobile platform, so not only is it available all the time, but anywhere you go.
With these promising enhancements to electric vehicles by BMW whether it is from a technological or from a driving point of view, the BMW i8 only looks even more promising; it is scheduled for release in 2014.
The BMW i3 is available to test-drive and purchase in Northern Ireland from November 2013.
